Casa Vacanze a Castiglion Fibocchi
House built around 1450, base and prison of the tower of justice. Remained intact in the structure with its 140cm wide walls, vaulted ceilings and floors in cooked stone and parquet, it brings back a special atmosphere far from our time.
The house overlooks the main square, living room of meetings and daily chatter during the day, quiet and silent at night.
Antica Dimora Figli di Bocco is also one of the structures to be rewarded with Booking.com Guest Review Award thanks to the welcome, the hospitality and courtesy that makes guests feel at home in a relaxed, family atmosphere.
As we enter, is the living room that welcomes guests with its vaulted ceiling in red bricks, a working stone fireplace, a flat-screen television and two comfortable armchairs.
The house is equipped with free WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, kitchen appliances and everything a family needs.
The two bedrooms have two very comfortable beds with sheets and blankets. In the room there is also a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and two bedside tables.
The two bathrooms (one in each room) are with shower and complete with courtesy set, towels, toilet paper and hygienic products.
And then there is the room where the castle prison was. Renewed it remained as it is with its slit, the walls of 140cm and the vaulted ceiling.
A table and two benches are the furniture. Despite some changes over time, the structure has remained intact as it remained the base of the tower which is the cell of the ancient prison.
It is our policy to follow our guests right from the start, asking them how the trip goes and giving all the necessary information.
We like being there when the guests arrive, to show the house and give some historical information about the work we have done.
We always offer a bottle of wine accompanied by dessert, or a bottle of water or a fruit juice to welcome guests in a typical Tuscan atmosphere.
On request, there is also the possibility to organize small tastings with typical local products.
